1. Zero Tolerance for Copyright Piracy
PixelMarket is a multi-vendor platform hosting independent creator storefronts. Creators warrant that all uploaded digital files, code scripts, graphic designs, and merchandise prints are original or properly licensed. Uploading counterfeit brands, ripped source code, pirated software, or unlicensed art is strictly forbidden.
2. How to Submit a Copyright Takedown Notice
If you hold copyright or trademark rights over an asset listed on PixelMarket without your permission, submit a formal written notice containing:
- Identification of the Work: Title, registration number (if applicable), and description or direct URL to your original authorized work.
- Infringing Listing URL: Direct web link (URL) of the disputed product or service listing on PixelMarket.
- Rights Holder Contact Details: Full legal name, physical mailing address, phone number, and official email address.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement asserting your good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or the law.
- Statement Under Penalty of Perjury: A formal statement that the information provided in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- Physical or Electronic Signature.
Email takedown notices to: hey@pixelmarket.in with the subject line “Urgent: Copyright Takedown Request”.
3. Action Upon Receipt of Valid Notice
Upon receiving a valid notice satisfying statutory criteria:
- The disputed listing will be deactivated and removed from search discovery within 24 to 48 hours.
- The seller will be notified and provided with the claimant’s contact details and basis of claim.
4. Counter-Notification Procedure
If a seller believes their listing was mistakenly removed due to misidentification or fair use, they may submit a Counter-Notification including proof of authorization, license certificate, or original creation source files. Upon receipt, PixelMarket will forward the counter-notice to the claimant. Unless the claimant files judicial action within 14 business days, the listing may be reinstated.
5. Three-Strike Repeat Infringer Rule
Accounts accumulating three confirmed copyright strikes will be permanently terminated with forfeiture of seller privileges.
